The glorious voice of Julie Andrews soars high on this 2-CD presentation of the Grammy Award-nominated movie soundtrack of "The Sound Of Music."

Disc 1 is the original 1965 movie soundtrack album, with 16 tracks sequenced as the songs appear in the movie.

Disc 2 features extended versions of selected songs as heard in the film, numbers not included on the Original Soundtrack Album, and an interview with composer Richard Rodgers.

This is considered one of the best anniversary re-issues, and there are plenty!

The packaging, booklet and photos make it a great collector's package. (see scan above).
