The Coasters were a unique R&B group who stood out from the rest by incorporating elements of humor into their classic R&B radio hits. During the late ‘50s, they recorded a string of entertaining and good-humored songs that took the pop charts by storm. They were defined by their laugh out loud lyrics and on-stage antics.
